Its been a while since i last posted i haven’t really had any product’s to review but hopefully i will soon have some more lovely product’s to try and review and get back into my blogging.
A few week’s ago i was lucky enough to be invited to my first Bzzagent campaign which was the 3 lovely Jacob’s cracker crisp’s the strange thing about my invite is i was in my local supermarket just hour’s before i received my email and i was speaking to my mum about how much i wanted to try the Jacob’s crisp’s as they look yummy but i decided to give them a try another day and then i had the email which i was so happy about.
My invite was to try all 3 flavours and they all sound yummy i am a big fan of crisp’s and they are my biggest downfall because i eat them nearly every day. I have been a fan of Bzzagent for around 1-2 year’s now so i was shocked when i received my invite email as i totally forgot about Bzz.
My package arrived within 2-3 working day’s after filling out my invite survey so i was pleased about that. The boxes they are posted out in are pretty too as they have a Bzzagent sticker around the box so it is pretty obvious to no what this was i must say the crisp’s where well packaged and had ‘fragile’ sticker’s around the box so i had no doubt’s.
My Bzz programme include’s:
- 1 full sized bag of sour cream and chive
- 1 full sized bag of thai sweet chilli
- 1 full sized bag of sea salt and balsamic vinegar
- 3 x 50p off coupon’s
I love the packaging these are very well designed and the colours stand out and represent the flavour’s very well. The packaging of a product say’s a lot to me as if the company is willing to design good quality packaging the product itself will be perfect too and i am certainly not wrong in saying that these are delicious! if you are a fan of Jacob’s cracker’s / product’s and crisps these are the perfect combination.
Jacob’s cracker crisp sour cream and chive review:
Firstly i tried the sour cream and chive flavour i am a big fan of cheese and onion crisp so i opened the bag with excitement i was greeted by a lovely burst of sour cream. The crisp’s remind me of the fish n chip crisps they sell in some supermarket’s as they are all different shape’s but each bag is filled to the brim and each crisp is baked to be irresistibly crunchy with a generous amount of of sour cream and chive seasoning. These are great for sharing with friend’s or family i did share these with my mum as we both agreed they were delicious and they are perfect for indulging on after a long hard day so i love putting my feet up watching my programmes on tv whilst snacking on these delicious crisps. I would also recommend these for parties they are great snack’s for guest’s at dinner parties or just for yourself it does not matter who you share them with i guarantee they will love the variety of flavour’s.
The cracker crisp’s are not as big or heavy as a normal size Jacob’s cracker but they are a reasonable size and each crisp is a thick size to give that delicious crunch they are certainly as you would imagine the burst of flavor’s are responsible on every cracker so the seasoning is generously applied all around the bag, These were so much better than most snacking product’s i have tried i am not a big fan of rice cakes, nut’s and most other nibble’s so i would highly recommend this flavour. Infact this was probably mine and my Mum’s favorite flavour we enjoyed them so much and finally it was something we both agreed on we went out to the supermarket the day after trying them to purchase 2 more bag’s.
Jacob’s cracker crisp sea salt and balsamic vinegar review:
Next we tied the sea salt & balsamic vinegar flavour again these did not fail to disappoint they were yummy! another product which has been very well thought about and i love the creative flavor’s. Each crisp was a thick and gorgeous taste the taste was not a overpowering taste like most salt and vinegar crisp’s these where just enough seasoning! these are a crunchy snack and full of flavour. I must admit these aren’t the type of crisp i could snack on all the time as i am not a big fan of salt and vinegar but once or twice a week would be perfect. My Dad also loved this flavour he is not a fan of crisp’s so getting him to try a new product and him actually agreeing was nice.
The bag’s are full to the brim i notice that pack’s of crisps are becoming like bag’s of fresh air lately which i hate it is false advertising when a bag is described as ‘full of flavour and bursting at the seems’ only to open them and find nearly half the bag gone! but with Jacob’s they never fail to disappoint. Overall i was really happy with this flavour i would highly recommend these to anyone and this product is the nicest type of salt and vinegar crisp i have ever tried i think the cracker crisp’s and sea salt & balsamic vinegar go perfect together before i managed to take a photo of the actual inside of the bag there was already half gone.
Jacob’s cracker crisp thai sweet chilli flavour review:
Finally we tried the thai sweet chilli flavour i was a little unsure about trying this flavour as i love spicy thing’s but they don’t seem to agree with me i get belly ache of the slightest spice e.g. chicken tikka curry’s. The thai sweet chilli are another big hit with the family it is a bag we all enjoyed and as they are all sharing bag’s it was great to sit down watching a film as a family trying the different flavour’s me and my Dad loved these and we wolfed them down in less than a hour! the thai sweet chilli are not too spicy but it is a spice you can taste and don’t leave your mouth burning.
Before i could take a picture of the inside bag they had all gone so a little disappointed about that but when i next buy a bag i will add a photo, it is safe to say they went down a treat my Dad took the bag and run off until they where half empty and then decided to share the rest. I did however manage to eat these without having any belly ache so i would certainly buy them again i am not adventurous when it comes to spicy food’s there is nothing i would like more than a vindaloo curry but i think i would be really poorly so i will just be sticking to the thai sweet chilli crisp’s. Overall i was really happy with this flavour and none of the 3 seemed to disappoint me or my family it has been a product we have been dying to try and it was safe to say it was certainly worth the wait.
The thing i also liked about these product’s are when i open other brand’s of crisp’s if i cannot finish the bag in one night and leave them wrapped up somewhere safe and cool for the next day they still go soggy and soft, i left the sour cream and chive bag open but wrapped up for around 2 day’s and when i went back to finish the bag they where still as fresh as they were when i opened them. Jacob’s cracker crisp’s retail from £1.89 – £1.99 in most big supermarket’s but i have seen some amazing deal’s on all 3 flavour’s for just £1 per bag!
The 3 x 50p off coupon’s i also received where to give to friend’s but instead of handing them straight to friend’s i went out of my way to my local Tesco store and picked up 3 bag’s for £1 so after the coupon’s i payed 50p per bag that’s just £1.50 for all 3 bag’s a extremely good bargain and then i choose my 2 best friend’s and my Nan to give a bag of each too i give my friend’s a bag of the sour cream and chive and thai sweet chilli whilst giving my Nan a bag of the sour cream and chive the feedback after all of them trying them was amazing and they said exactly what i said they would highly recommend and you have to try them to believe them.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my review everyone i have really enjoyed my Bzz invatation and soon hope to be invited again in the future as having the chance to try new product’s for free is a bonus but also having coupon’s or goodies to pass to friend’s make’s it even better, as always i will like all information below about the company and where you can buy these and would urge people to follow on social media platforms to keep up to date with the new product launches, new’s, competitions etc.
Jacob’s have a wide range of product’s currently available i love the original Jacob’s cracker’s with butter or cheese but if you want to be more creative with flavour’s the cracker crisp’s are available in most supermarket’s e.g. Tesco, Morrison’s, Ocado, Sainsbury’s, Asda etc.
Thank you once again for reading my review i hope you all enjoyed and this has left a few of my lovely follower’s desperate to try these product’s!
Has anybody else tried Jacob’s cracker crisp’s? i would love to hear more feedback and review’s / favorite flavour’s.
